HI FRIENDS!
I missed you dearly since last Friday- seems so long ago. Let’s not waste another moment and dive right into Featured Friday Edition #11! YIPPY!! Today I wanted to do things a little different because this is the last Friday before Thanksgiving. So today’s post is all about giving thanks to the ones you love. Especially the people who have worked so hard to make your wedding wonderful. That can include anyone- parents, bridal party, in-laws, the priest, etc. Remember that telling people THANK YOU and how much you appreciate them is not only polite, but also heart warming to the soul.
We get so caught up in our day to day lives and all the little details of planning that we really should stop, make a call or visit that person to say, “hey I really appreciate your help” or “Thanks SO much for all your hard work”. It can make a big difference in someone’s day…turns a frown upside down:) corny, I know! So what I did for today’s post was snoop around online for thank you cards, bridal party gifts and all things that scream out THANKS- wedding focused of course.
First item to snag my attention was this lovely framed poem to your parents by Poetry Gift.
It’s hard to find the right words to tell you how I feel.
I want to deeply thank you for all you’ve done for me.
But “thank you” only begins to say
what’s in my heart today.
I sometimes took for granted
your guidance and caring ways.
The sacrifices made for me
may have seemed to go unnoticed.
But, as I start a new chapter in my life,
I want you to know that your love and support
are among my most cherished memories.
Then on a site called Invitation Consultants I noticed these adorable bridal party thank you cards! Super cute.

Continuing on my quest to find sentimental and meaningful thank you gifts..i noticed these personalized sterling silver lockets. This is a great idea because you can have it engraved but then even include a photo inside. If it’s for a friend you’ve known forever, this would be a great place to store an old photo fav of the two of you! Found this on American Bridal for only $38.95.

Lastly, I wanted to write about a gift that my friend mel had given me for being her Matron of Honor, a personalized canvas photo from PersonalizationMall.com. Such a special idea…it displays your favorite photo and a special saying. I have it showcased in my home and still pick it up to read it. Makes me smile…
Any gift or simple way of saying thank you to your bridal party, parents, in-laws, etc. should be a relection of you. Like I said, even placing a call to your mom to say thanks is appreciated. So in the spirit of Thanksgiving I would like to thank my Mother-In-Law (Deb), Best Friend Mel, our entire bridal party and my mom for truly going above and beyond for me on my wedding day and ever since then-I love and thank you all!
Happy Thanksgiving To All!!! xoxox
