I Do The Details

Hello my fellow wedding fans,

It’s FRIDAY!!! Thanks goodness right?!? Welcome back to Featured Friday Edition #14- Freaky Florals. We’ll last week (1/9) was my birthday, 27 years old IF you were wondering and my mother gave me the most amazing floral arrangement- SO lovely. Created by The Flower Gallery (Best in the area and beyond in my opinion). They are located at: 249 North Summer Street, Adams, MA.

These flowers really got me thinking about arrangements- what’s SO In and what’s SO OUT when it comes to bouquets. Basically the good and bad of weddings past..they can be SCARY. Proceed with caution and I apologize in advance if your arrangement is on the “bad” list..no I am not! ha-ha

Here is a run down of some of the WORST arrangements I found while surfing the WWW..

#1. This bouquet appears to have an identity crisis- pastels, mustard yellows and caution cone orange-WHAT! Yikes! The lavender bow just hits the head on the nail.

#2. Next in the terrible line… is this out of control black feather fiesta. Now I actually think adding “some” feathers in can be soft and elegant but this one is scary and overwhelming. Don’t you think?

#3. This next style “was” in but now it just appears to be running down the brides dress to hide. I also do not adore the ivy all embedded into this arrangement. To big, to long and to much RED here. EEEKKK.

#4. Another giant arrangement that’s SO big the bride probably needed to build up her arm strength just to carry it that day- painful. Never-mind the terrible color mix…

Now for a few styles I just ADORE! They make my heart happy after all those bad ones that came before..no explanations needed, just enjoy! And I hope they give YOU some fabulous ideas.
