About Etsy- the who, what and where behind this site:

The who: Etsy was founded by Rob Kalin, Chris Maguire, Haim Schoppik and Jared Tarbell in June, 2005.

The what: Buy, sell and live handmade via Etsy community.

The where: Online it’s www.etsy.com but really the Etsy community spans the globe with buyers and sellers coming from more than 150 countries. Etsy sellers number in the hundreds of thousands.

Why am I mentioning Etsy on this wedding blog you might ask yourself?? Well in my opinion each wedding should be unique, personalized and leave that aaww feeling in the back of your guests minds even a few days later. AND…affordable! Some people go NUTS with all the store bought stuff..when really seeking handmade vs. manufactured tends to save YOU some ching ching! PLUS, your items will look completely different than anyone else you know. PERK!
