HELLLOOO to you!
It’s Trainer Tuesday again and thank you for spending some time with me today, appreciate that. So if you have been following past posts, then you’ll know that I am training for my very first 10K race (www.holyokestpatricksroadrace.org) in only 1 month, give or take. And I do NOT run on a daily bases. I think my last race was before my wedding in 2007 and it was nothing special, trust me ha-ha. I do NOT have a lot of time to train, but I really am giving this my all. I was roped into this by Mike but I am so glad I did..this is really going outside my comfort zone and making me push myself. I really need a good push in the right direction and I think we all do from time to time.

What are your fitness goals, ponder that question for a little while. How are you working towards achieving it? Time goes by so fast and you try to lose those 10-15lbs, whatever lbs or tone up but never do..you lose track of time. Everyday is a chance to move ahead on the board game of life/fitness and when you miss a day, you miss the next step towards THE GOAL. Pick a color and start moving ahead TODAY.

I am not saying that you have to run..just choose your fitness method: Kickboxing, walking, bike riding, rollerblading, tennis ..try something new too- mix it up. Doing SOMETHING is better than nothing at all…make your first move. Get out there and be inspired to step beyond your norm and push, push, push… Here is my latest training stat:
It’s not amazing or even that great, but I am proud of myself so far and my main goal is to simply finish this 10k. Making good time would be a perk too! but hey, I am just starting out here. I have to work on running farther, controlling my breathing and just continue to become faster too. I will keep at it and all will fall into place.
