Happy happy happy FRIDAY….YYYYeeessssss! While pondering about what to write for today’s post it POPPED into my head that I have not addressed the ever growing tradition called Groom’s Cake. Such a cool idea to treat your groom to a cake JUST for HIM. Let’s face it ladies, most of this wedding is planned, about and created by YOU..and that’s ok. But why not give him one little thing that’s simply about him..

The southern tradition of having a groom’s cake is becoming more and more popular. For those who don’t know what a groom’s cake is: a groom’s cake is usually served on a table at the wedding reception, but it can also be served after the rehearsal dinner. A lot of brides surprise their groom with this cake.

The decoration of the groom’s cake often reflects the personality of the groom or his favorite hobby. The design may also be humorous and reflect the couple’s interests.
