Hello ladies and gents,
It’s your favorite read of the week…I hope, FEATURED FRIDAY!!! Can you feel the Friday LOVE??? ((HUGS)) to all!!! As you know, this past weekend I was in Maine for my friend Stacy’s Bachelorette festivities. It was an all weekend event which included real quality girl time at the beach, dinners, bonfire and even a spa day on Sunday! woohoo. Who wouldn’t enjoy a spa visit!? So while pondering what I could possibly chat about today, The Spa at Rivers Edge was fresh in my mind.
The Spa At Rivers Edge is located on a beautiful bend of the Kennebunk River in Kennebunk Maine. From the condo we stayed at in Wells, the spa was maybe 10-15 minutes away at most.
From the outside, I honestly did not know what to expect, but once you step foot into this spa, you feel the calm and relaxed vibe the facility illuminates. And such a lovely staff to greet you right away..customer service=KEY TO SUCCESS.
We arrived with 6 ladies ready to be pampered..and boy oh boy they did NOT let us down. Once we checked in, the hostess lead us all into a comfy living room filled with teas/water and one by one we were called for our treatments. A couple people were having massages, the bride was being treated to a massage and facial, the rest chose to have our nails or feet treated!

Rivers Edge Luxurious Almond Manicure:
almond milk bath, followed by almond oil scrub and illuminating masque wrapped in warm towels with extended hand massage.
The staff really was outstanding and the services were top notch in my book. Andie, the lovely lady on the right, tried out this great new OPI nail polish shade of gray. At first we questioned the color, but seriously..NY CHIC. Her toes look like rock-stars!
Something I thought was extra special about this location was the fact that they have showers and a steam room for you to use! It was especially good for those who had a massage and needed to rinse off the oils after. That can be annoying, especially when you’re over 2 hours away from home. Definitely a perk!
Another really FUN part of the experience was trying out new products!!! Their lobby is stocked with Bare Escentuals make-up, lotions, masks, eye cream etc. We really had a good time applying new products and then doing our make-up before we left!! Testing out new eyeshadow shades is always a good time in my book.
